PAST EVENT: Beer & Board Games in Fhain
THANK YOU to everyone who made our 1st-ever event so wonderful!!!
24 awesome people joined us – 50% men and 50% women. Daters hang out in small groups, just like hanging with friends, and men changed tables every hour. Everybody got a chance to meet without any pressure 🙂
There were optional board games and conversation starters at every table (don’t worry, none of those cringe icebreakers you get at corporate retreats).. but the main highlight was the free homemade muffins 🧁

What is Slow Dating?
Slow Dating is based on a key idea: people make better connections when they’re relaxed and being themselves.
😨No awkward 1-on-1s – you hang out in small, mixed-gender groups so it feels like chilling with friends.
🎉30 minutes per group, enough time to loosen up and go beyond small talk.
👫 50/50 gender balance at our hetero events (Queer events are coming soon.)
🐱 No creeps or catfish. Attendees identities are verified before the event. We have a 0 tolerance policy for any creepy behavior.
🎲 Games and conversation starters: We provide optional icebreakers and an ‘emergency conversation starter jar’ with fun and random questions.
🧁 Free home baked snacks. Your host bakes muffins, brownies, cookies or cake for every event. Other food and drinks will also be for sale.
❤️ Online matchmaking after the event. No pressure to make a move!
